On Friday, October 9, 2026, at approximately 15:22 PT (22:22 UTC), Marqeta engineers detected an issue causing some transactions approved or declined by network stand-in, and impact to tokenization and digital wallet tokens. An upstream networking vendor has confirmed an outage in us-east-1, confirmed the root cause, and have taken mitigating actions. We are no longer seeing impact. We are continuing to monitor to ensure services remain stable. We will update this space again upon any notable change in status.
