3 min outage on API due to router failover

Resolved

An edge router was required to failover, the failover took longer than expected, and there was a ~3 minute outage. The routers are currently operating correctly. We will take action to understand why the failover was not instantaneous.

The outage affected all production API and some limited authorization traffic for those customers served by this router from 11:55am - 11:58am GMT

An incident report will be shared for this.
