On June 25, 2026, Marqeta identified a degradation in 3DS challenge authentication success rates affecting merchants. Merchants experienced reduced success rates on 3DS challenge authentication requests starting from June 16th. Engineers have confirmed functionality is restored. Marqeta is working with our upstream vendor to obtain a full root cause analysis.
